We were delighted to be invited to do a small feature on STVs The Hour show with Stephen Jardine and Michelle McManus.
The chat was inspired by William and Kate's Royal Wedding and we were having a look at buttonholes.
Now apparently Stephen and Michelle are not known for their skill in doing craft .... so I was told anyway .... but I think they made up their wee buttonholes very well!
Here are a few more snaps of what I made for the show
A beautifully scented sprig of lily of the valley wrapped in its own leaves and tied with some raw string.
This would make a great buttonhole or a simple gorgeous ladies corsage
For the gentleman who likes understated.... this simple Narcissi flower is petite and cute
Perhaps for a more traditional wedding, a creamy Dolmito Rose with a wee touch of foliage
One of our favourites..... there is so much you could cram in here! A little bundle of herby joy!
Nice and natural, just the way we like it!
You know we love to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!..... this buttonhole has two Matriosa flowers, a little pistache and some gorgeous vintage fabric for a wee bit of colour
Thank you for looking!
