Stuart & Denise - May 2010

Stuart and Denise were married at House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston park.

It was a beautiful day... a little blustery... but the rain stayed off :)

Denise held a bouquet of gorgeous scented roses.... she told us that she couldn't stop indulging in the scent all day!! Her Bridesmaids had petite bouquets of cream roses and we created pretty pomanders for her two little flower girls.

For the ceremony we placed two large contemporary displays of large Calla lilies...

Best Scottish Wedding Magazine - Summer

Our flowers in the summer edition of The Best Scottish Weddings magazine :)

 Bottom left.... cute little jars of summer blooms in little containers covered with our favourite... vintage fabric!

Main picture..... buttonhole made with yellow craspedia, eucalyptus and little wax flowers.... smart but a little against the norm ;)

Covent Garden Flower Market

Fabulous trip down to Covent Garden Flower Market yesterday.... so many gorgeous flowers to see..... it is wonderful to stroll around and take it all in!

We were lucky enough to catch two fabulous demonstrations during our trip....

The first was by London Based florist Karen Woolven of Karen Woolven Floral Design

She was such a lovely lady and made an incredible natural arrangement!

 

The peonies and lilac in this arrangement were beautiful!

The second demonstration was by Simon Nickell and Victoria Taberer-Bond of Euphoric Flowers

Watching them work together to create a stunning design was the highlight of the day!

Absolutely fabulous!

The roses in this design had a scent to die for.... we will most definitely be seeing some of them in our weddings this summer!

Fabulous trip to London... next stop... Holland!
