'Vintage Glamour' was the order of the day for Hannah and Johnny's wedding at Glasgow University Chapel last summer. Hannah asked for a delicious array of deep pinks, fuschia pinks and hot pinks, broken up with flashes of ivory. All the details of the big day were captured by
Paul Crawford Photography.
We chose peonies, dahlias, hydrangea, deep water roses, mimi eden spray roses and veronica with a delicate shower of foliage to complement Hannah's glamorous wedding gown.
The hot pinks really popped against the teal of the Bridesmaid dresses! And it looks like our little heart-shaped wands went down a treat with the flower girls :-)
Hannah and Johnny chose to decorate their reception tables with stacks of vintage books - giving a little nod to the venue's academic history. Little jars of flowers pulled together the colours of the day and helped soften the look. And if you haven't read
'The Princess Bride' by William Goldman - put it on your wishlist! Or at least watch the film ;-)
Taking inspiration from the vintage book stacks, we decorated the top table with a love heart garland made from recycled books and each of the tables with a small scattering of paper heart confetti...
Congratulations Hannah and Johnny! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day x
